The players of Sea of Thieves love adventure? So Rare will give it to them. The studio first party of Microsoft Gaming has made some big announcements about its multiplayer pirate game, starting with regular additions of short stories, ‘Adventures’ and ‘Mysteries’. The “adventures” will develop an overall narrative arc in episodic form, while the “mysteries” will be self-sufficient and offer an enigma/investigation to solve. These new stories do not replace the seasons of SoT, which will always bring their big batches of novelties at more or less regular intervals. Suffice to say that there will be new more often in Sea of Thieves.
You won’t have to wait too long to enjoy the first Adventure: Shrouded Island will be available on February 17 and will take place on the now devastated outpost of Golden Sands. On the same day, players will also be entitled to the first Mystery. As if that weren’t enough, Rare has also unveiled 6 new types of forts, some of which will be visible in Adventures. The emphasis on the game’s different narrative arcs, on the other hand, costs the skin of the Arena mode (arena), which allowed you to compete in 2v2 sloop or 4v4 galleon games. Sea of Thieves is available on Xbox (One/Series), PC, and Xbox Game Pass
