Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Tab S8 in a few weeks and a big leak today lets you know all the technical details. Three models will be announced.
All the technical details of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8
According to information from WinFuture, the three Galaxy Tab S8 will ship the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, namely the latest powerful processor from Qualcomm. Smartphones from some manufacturers already have it and other high-end models will have it this year.
As for the base Galaxy Tab S8, the 11-inch tablet will use a 2560×1600 pixel LCD screen with a 120Hz display. It will run Android 12, have 8GB of RAM and either 128 or 256 GB of storage (with option to use a microSD card to expand storage). A USB-C 3.2 port will also be present. Samsung will also offer an 8,000 mAh battery. The tablet as a whole measures 253.8 x 165.4 x 6.3 mm.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ will have a 12.7-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,800 × 1,752 pixels and a 120 Hz display. It will also have 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. The battery will have a capacity of 10,090mAh and the tablet overall will be 285 x 185 x 5.7mm.
Both models will be entitled to two 13 megapixel (main) and 6 megapixel (ultra wide-angle) photo sensors at the rear, and a 12 megapixel sensor at the front. Facial recognition will also be available, as will a fingerprint sensor. The latter will be on the ignition button with the Galaxy Tab S8 and under the screen with the Galaxy Tab S8+.
Finally comes the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with its 14.6-inch AMOLED screen, a definition of 2,960 x 1,848 pixels and a 120 Hz display. The maximum storage will be 512 GB and the RAM can be 16 GB. battery, for its part, will be from 11,200 mAh. Another difference, two photo sensors at the front which will be in a notch. This should allow for more secure facial recognition.
The presentation of the Galaxy Tab S8 by Samsung should take place on February 8, alongside the announcement of the Galaxy S22.
