Samsung find colors. Even though the sales of its flagships range are tending to tread water, Samsung is more than catching up with the sale of mid-range mobiles, its smartTVs and even its semiconductor business. And the numbers are soaring: in the fourth quarter of 2021, Samsung achieved sales of 56.8 billion euros (76,570 billion won), a record for Samsung Electronics. Over the whole of 2021, Samsung even exceeded 200 billion euros in turnover (207.3 billion exactly) while profits peaked at 38.2 billion.
Sales of Samsung consumer products increased 24% in Q4 and the semiconductor business jumped 54%. 2022 promises to be even brighter for the manufacturer with the launches of the Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S22/S22 Pro/S22 Ultra (the latter model should benefit from the compatibility with the S-Pen stylus), and of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra tablet.
