The limitation of the performance of the Galaxy S22 (and S21, S20 and s10 before it) continues to make waves. The Korea Herald thus believes it has good sources that the regulator anti-trust south korean, the Korea’s Fair Trade Commissionwould consider investigating possible breaches of the Advertising Act, Samsung touting the S22 as the smartphone displaying “the best performances ever seen” even though many apps are restricted by the GOS (Game Optimizing Service).

As if that were not enough, the Yonhap news agency reports that a class-action is in the works (class-action lawsuit) and that the users who initiated the complaint could seek compensation of 300,000 won (230 euros) per person.

Samsung has promised that a future update will allow the user to regain control over the performance of his Galaxy mobile, but without giving an availability date.
