Banca Mediolanum approved the consolidated economic results of the group as at 31 December 2021. The income statement closed with a net profit of 713.1 million euros64% higher than in 2020, thanks to the structural growth of the recurring business and the contribution of all business lines.
In light of this result, the distribution of a dividend of € 0.35 per share, equal to approximately 258 million, consisting of € 0.23 of basic dividend balance and € 0.12 of special dividend. Considering the interim payment of € 0.23 distributed in November 2021., the total dividend proposed for the 2021 financial year amounts to € 0.58 per share, for a total of approximately 427 million.

I am therefore extremely satisfied with the results achieved, starting with the assets under administration which has now approached 110 billion and the operating profit of 713 million euros, up 64% compared to the previous year.

Banca Mediolanum, the business of family bankers
At the end of 2021 the total masses managed and administered by Banca Mediolanum reached 108.36 billion euros, an increase of 16% compared to 31 December 2020, thanks to the decisive contribution of total net inflows and the positive performance of the markets during the year.
In 2021 the total net inflows it was positive for 9.18 billion, up 19%, while net deposits under management reached 6.66 billion, up 62% compared to last year.
The number of family bankers at 31 December 2021 it was 5,762, also thanks to the strong growth in Spain, while the total number of customers stood at 2,302,300, up 6% year on year, with 1,586,600 bank customers.
